Denise - Nothing wrong with 'mutts', just means they have a wider gene pool to choose from
Like I said, I wasn't sure if I actually saw the difference or if it was just inferred, because I knew. It was a brilliant chop, so I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. _________________ In the beginning there was nothing........ and then it exploded |

Denise, I said it was such a small thing I probably just thought I could see it, so I'm not sure. As you where there, what do you think? Is the new version more 'real'?......... Thats all that counts in the end (and what Dad thinks of course - Don't want him totally freaked out do we?) _________________ In the beginning there was nothing........ and then it exploded |

I saw it too. He was kind of yellow compared to my husband and daughter, so I fooled around with his skin tone and made it a little more evened out. His skin tone is not quite as rosy as theirs since he's still got that baby skin and doesn't play outside yet. But I think it's much better now, thanks so much for letting me know. _________________ Denise

Denise,
Like the change though I wouldn't have noticed it needed changing...enjoyed looking through your photos too.

Update on me!
Still learning how to properly use my DSLR. I finally had the opportunity this spring to take a couple of 2 hr courses to teach me how to shoot in manual. Still not quite there yet, but practicing practicing practicing!
Still using PSE 5.0 but since practicing in manual mode, having to 'tweak' a lot more than I like. I feel at times I am learning it all over again. Lately, because I'm not quite there yet when it comes to the correct exposure, I find some of my pictures are looking a tad overprocessed to make up for the focus issues. However, I am hoping to take another 2 hr course sometime in September so hopefully I will finally grasp all the ins and outs of a properly set camera.
On a brighter note, I'm hoping, I found out that because I homeschool our daughter, I may be eligible to purchase PS5 at the student rate!! I'm going to call them for sure and find out for certain, but if it's true, it will make saving up for it all the more sweeter, knowing I have somewhere I can ask questions from so many people here who are as equally passionate about photography and photoshop...like peanut butter and jelly!!
Well, since the spring, I've been getting steady requests for sessions, but still have those days where I doubt my abilities. I think once I master, or at least greatly improve, at shooting in manual, I will feel better about it. I still have so much to learn!! I look towards the day where photoshop will be used to enhance a correctly exposed portrait rather than try and cover up my blunders!
Well, thanks again Dorothy for having this board of like-minded photoshoppers...learning from each other. I hope to eventually be good enough so I could return the favor to the newbies at photoshop like you all help me!

P.S. Sigh! Sad that I will no longer get responses from Deci! _________________ Denise
